The Way I Am

I'm somewhat frustrated. I'm frustrated for several reasons.
1. It's 3:00 a.m. and I'm awake.
2. I have the sneaking suspicion I'm getting a cold.
3. I want to go see Juno, but it's not playing in Iowa City.
4. I have the Ingrid Michaelson song The Way I Am stuck in my head on repeat.
5. I just got an annoying text message from someone who's becoming increasingly annoying to me. Annoying. Annoying.

I threw last two 'annoying'-s in for good measure. So what does one do at 3:00 a.m. in the morning? Why read celebrity blogs online, of course. I enjoy John Mayer's and Kevin Smith's blogs very much. Alec Baldwin's blog is growing particularly interesting to me as well. God. I love 30 Rock. It's seriously one of, if not the best TV show on network television. I wish this writers' strike would end...but I understand why the WGA is doing what it's doing.

I tried to organize my closet today. I only succeeded in covering every inch of my apartment with unwanted shoe boxes, clothing and issues of Entertainment Weekly from 2004. I'm very good at starting projects...not so good at finishing them.

Well, I guess I'll go take a shower. Maybe that will make me sleepy. Oooh, I might throw in some cold medicine. It's about time for another dose...
